Salto DBolt.

DBolt is Salto's smart deadbolt built for individual residential unit entry doors on the Homelok platform. It is designed for apartment and condo living: residents unlock with a mobile credential or an Apple Wallet key on an iPhone or Apple Watch, and property managers issue, change, or revoke access from the Homelok cloud without rekeying cylinders or collecting fobs at move-out. Because access rights are managed in the cloud, turnover between residents becomes a software action rather than a locksmith visit. DBolt is the unit-door piece of a Homelok community: it works alongside Salto wall readers and access controllers on the common-area, amenity, and perimeter doors so a single resident credential covers the apartment, the building entrance, the gym, the mail room, and the parking gate. We deploy it where a property wants keyless resident living without running an on-site server.

Things to think about
Homelok-native, residential by design
DBolt is built for individual residential unit doors on the Homelok cloud platform. It is certified AAA to A156.40 (Grade 2 A156.12 on the interconnected Touch IC), runs off-the-shelf AA batteries, and is the unit-door piece of a Homelok community. It is not a hospitality guest-room lock; that is XS4 One.
Turnover becomes a software action
Because access rights live in the Homelok cloud, issuing, changing, or revoking a resident credential is a cloud action rather than a locksmith visit. The operational win at move-out is as important as the hardware: no rekeying cylinders, no collecting fobs.

DBolt: frequently asked
What is the Salto DBolt and what is it for?
DBolt is a smart deadbolt that replaces an existing mechanical deadbolt on a residential unit door, built for the Homelok cloud platform. Residents unlock with a mobile credential or Apple Wallet key, and property managers issue or revoke access from the cloud without rekeying. It is certified AAA to A156.40, with a Grade 2 A156.12 interconnected Touch IC variant.
Does DBolt work without an on-site server?
Yes. DBolt runs on Homelok, Salto's cloud platform, so there is no on-site server to maintain. That is the point of difference from the Space platform used in much of hospitality.
Is DBolt a good fit for hotels?
No, it is built for multifamily and residential unit doors. For branded hospitality guest rooms, XS4 One is the standard. DBolt shines where you want keyless resident living and software-driven move-in / move-out.
