Moving off a legacy brand?

Salto drops into most existing door prep, so a migration usually does not mean new doors. We scope the honest path off your current hardware.

What drives a Salto project cost

There is no honest single price for "a Salto lock," because a project is an assembly of choices. These are the factors we scope. Tell us your door count and current brand and we return a real range within four business hours.

  • Door count

The single biggest driver. Pricing and timeline both scale with the number of openings, and larger properties phase the install over weeks.

  • Product line and form factor

XS4 One, XS4 Mini, Neo, and Aelement Fusion sit at different tiers, and mortise vs cylinder vs escutcheon prep changes the labor per door.

  • Credentials and integration

Mobile key (BLE/NFC), brand-standard certification, and direct PMS integration add configuration work beyond the hardware itself.

  • Common-area and network work

Wallreaders for amenity rooms, gates, and parking, plus any reader or network cabling, are scoped on top of the room-lock count.

  • Install windows

Occupied properties install during operating hours around your schedule; tighter or after-hours windows change the crew plan.

Salto questions, answered

  • Who installs Salto locks in the United States?

RevKey installs Salto locks nationwide. We are a Certified Salto Partner and a veteran-owned business that installs, configures, trains staff, and provides ongoing support for Salto across hospitality, multifamily, government, and commercial properties. We handle the full project, not just the hardware drop.

  • What is Salto access control?

Salto is an electronic access-control platform built around battery-powered smart locks and a credential system (mobile keys over BLE and NFC, plus cards and PIN). Salto runs offline-first, so doors keep working when the network blips, and integrates directly with hotel PMS, guest-journey, and check-in platforms. Product lines include XS4 One, XS4 Mini, Neo, Aelement Fusion, DBolt, Neoxx padlocks, and Salto wall readers.

  • Can I replace my Saflok, VingCard, or dormakaba locks with Salto?

Yes. In most cases Salto drops into the existing door prep, so the door itself does not change. RevKey runs migrations off legacy keycard systems (Saflok, VingCard, dormakaba) door by door during normal operating hours, with a first-door sign-off before mass install. We will tell you honestly when an in-family upgrade is the smarter move instead.

  • How much does a Salto installation cost?

There is no single price. Project cost is driven by door count, the product line and form factor, whether you need mobile-key and PMS integration, network and reader work for common areas, and your install windows. RevKey scopes the real range for your property and responds to email submissions within four business hours, with real numbers rather than a generic ask-for-more-info reply.

  • Which Salto lock is right for my property?

XS4 Original+ is the proven default for new build and retrofit, with a Wide Body trim that covers existing door prep; XS4 One is the compact, discreet option for narrow or design-driven doors; XS4 Mini is the smaller, lower-cost escutcheon common in extended-stay; Neo retrofits into existing cylinders and deadbolts for multifamily and office; Aelement Fusion is the design-forward choice for boutique and lifestyle properties; Salto wall readers cover non-door access like amenity rooms and parking. Our Salto Selector tool narrows it in a few questions.

  • Is RevKey a certified Salto installer?

Yes. RevKey is a Certified Salto Partner. We are Salto-flagship by design, meaning we do not split attention across competing brands, and we are veteran-owned.
