Salto Glass XS Reader.

The Glass XS wall reader is the design-forward variant of the Salto wall reader, with a glass face for lobbies, premium amenity floors, and spaces where the reader is part of the interior design. Same credential stack and platform support as the Design reader: it pairs with XS4 and DBolt locks under one credential and runs online through Salto Space (BLUEnet) on-site or Homelok in the cloud.
Where this model fits
- Premium hotel and resort lobbies and amenity floors
- Design-led multifamily common areas
- Boutique and lifestyle properties where the reader is visible design
- Corporate lobbies and conference centers
Parent product line
Glass XS Reader is a configuration of the Salto Wall Reader product line. See the parent line page for the full credential stack, PMS integration list, and brand-standard notes that apply across every Salto Wall Reader configuration.
How this model is configured
Every Salto lock is composed to your doors during scoping: finish, mortise and function type, credential technology (BLE, NFC, RFID, with mag-stripe or PIN fallback where needed), and handing. RevKey confirms each selection at the site survey and configures the final composed part number with you, so the lock that ships matches your door prep and brand standard.

Where Glass XS Reader fits, and where it doesn’t
Best for
- Amenity and common-area access: pools, fitness, business centers, meeting rooms
- Elevator and restricted-floor access control
- Parking gates and mail rooms under one resident or guest credential
- Surface or flush mount, with design and glass face variants
Not ideal for
- Standalone door locking (a reader needs a controller plus a lock or strike)
- Battery-only installs where running low-voltage wiring is not possible
- Single-door projects better served by a self-contained electronic lock
